Choose a suitable place to pitch your tent

  • Look for flat areas. If it must be built on a hill, place the entrance on a slope.
  • Don’t put the tent too close to the fire. Shooting cinder or a gust of wind will burn a hole in the sail at best, and at worst you’ll lose your equipment.
  • If you are camping in a valley or under a mountain, be careful to avoid being swept away by water running down the slopes when it rains.
  • Use natural elements such as bushes or rocks as a natural barrier against wind.
  • If camping in a hot environment, take advantage of natural ventilation and set up the tent so that the wind blows in from the entrance.
  • About 5 meters away from other tents so that there is room to disconnect cables. Also, it’s good to have a bit of privacy, and it’s best to avoid snoring neighbors.
